George Guo
George Guo is our Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Maxeon, he served as Advisor to the Chairman of TCL Group on strategic issues including corporate strategy, product positioning and go-to-market, supply chain and operation management. Prior to that, Mr. Guo served as CEO for TCL Communications, and brings nearly 40 years of experience and an exceptional track record of technology leadership, scale-up and high-volume manufacturing, driving growth in multiple technology business segments. Mr. Guo’s career includes leadership roles at IBM’s Santa Teresa Lab, serving as CTO and head of R&D for Zhaodaola Internet, and several executive roles at TCL Communications. Mr. Guo holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, an M.S. in Bioengineering from Columbia University, an M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Matt Dawson
Matt Dawson is our Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Maxeon, he served as the Vice President of Technology at Sila Nanotechnologies, a battery materials company. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles at SunPower Corporation, where in 2019 he became Vice President of Research and Development and was responsible for technology strategy, cell and module product development, and the company's R&D lab infrastructure. With over 15 years' experience developing and deploying products across the solar energy value chain, Matt Dawson has a proven track record of scaling innovation from R&D stage to volume manufacturing and delivering success in competitive commercial environments. Mr. Dawson holds a B.A. in English Literature, a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics, and an Executive MBA from Queen’s University (Kingston, Canada), and a MASc. in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada).
Dmitri Hu
Dmitri Hu is Maxeon’s Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for the Company’s Finance and IT functions. Mr. Hu joined Maxeon from TCL Industries, where he held key leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and General Manager of Global Service, as well as serving as Executive Director and Board Secretary of TCL Electronics. He has been recognized as theBest CFO – Developed Market/Consumer Discretionary Sector by Institutional Investor in 2019 and 2020, among other prestigious awards. In a career spanning nearly 25 years, Mr. Hu also previously held roles in technology and financial services companies including Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank Group, Yue Yuen Industrials, Gogoro, Inc., and others. He has significant experience in strategic planning, financial transformation, capital and investment strategy, treasury, and capital markets.Mr. Hu holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business of New York University and a BBA from National Taiwan University.
Tiffany See
Tiffany See is our Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. Before joining Maxeon, since November 2018, she was Head of Asia- Human Resources at BHP, a global resources company. Prior to BHP, Ms. See was Executive Director, Human Resources (Asia), for Dell Technologies, where she spent 17 years in a variety of human resources leadership positions. Ms. See holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Newcastle (Australia), and a Bachelor of Laws from University of New England (Australia). Ms. See is also a Certified Solution Focused Coach.
Ralf Elias
Mr. Elias brings more than two decades of executive experience to Maxeon, including serving as Global Vice President IoT/Global Business Development and Partnerships at Samsung Electronics. Prior to that, Mr. Elias worked for 14 years in various management roles with increasing responsibility at Vodafone Group, where he became Group Head of Products and Innovation, and General Manager Product Development. At Vodafone he led numerous innovative engineering and commercial projects for add-on services culminating in the development of the global SMART HOME and Consumer IoT strategy. Mr. Elias holds a Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Essen, and an MBA from the Technical University of Munich.
Vikas Desai
Mr. Desai received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, a Master’s degree in Power Electronics Engineering from Loughborough University, and his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering.
Hao-Chin (Frank) Jeng
Hao-Chin (Frank) Jeng is our interim Chief Legal Officer, in charge of the company’s global legal and compliance affairs, practices of the board of directors, and ESG matters. Throughout his legal career, Frank has represented clients in securities and bond offerings in the U.S. and Hong Kong, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, antitrust investigations, commercial litigations, high-stake IP litigations, and licensing transactions. Before joining Maxeon, Frank served as Vice President of Purplevine IP Group, where he founded and led its global IP litigation and licensing practice and international development strategy. Prior to Purplevine, Frank served as a partner in the Hong Kong and Chicago offices of Kirkland & Ellis, where he practiced in both litigation and corporate departments across the firm’s Chicago, Hong Kong, and Shanghai offices. He is qualified to practice law in the State of New York, U.S.A., and Hong Kong SAR, China. He holds J.D. and LL.M. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and BBA and LLB degrees from National Taiwan University. Frank is well regarded in the legal and IP community, where he was named the World's Leading IP Strategist in IAM Strategy 300 by IAM Magazine (2023 & 2024).
